About SolarPanelInstallPros

SolarPanelInstallPros is an independent guide for homeowners researching solar: what it costs, which incentives exist in your state, how to compare quotes and how to pick an installer. We do not install solar, and we are not affiliated with any government agency or utility.

How we research

We write from primary and official sources wherever possible (government agencies, statutes, regulators and recognized public databases) and link to them so you can check our work. When a figure depends on your situation, we say so instead of guessing.

How the site is funded

The site is free. We may earn money from clearly labelled sponsorships, affiliate links and, in the future, by referring visitors who request it to third-party matching services. See our affiliate disclosure.

What we are not

We are not a solar installer, contractor, lender, utility or government program. We do not provide tax advice. We do not guarantee savings.
